SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has transferred JKAS officer Bilal Ahmad Mir from his post as Sub-Registrar, Khansahib, and posted him as Deputy Secretary in the JK Legislative Assembly with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 1415-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated August 19, Mir was also holding additional charge of Sub-Registrar, Budgam before his transfer.
Following his transfer, Jahangir Ahmed, JKAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Khansahib, has been assigned additional charge of Sub-Registrar, Khansahib and Sub-Registrar, Budgam, in addition to his existing duties, until further orders.
