SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of three Chief Engineers in the Jal Shakti Department with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 150-JK (JSD) of 2026, Dev Raj Bhagat, presently posted with the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation (JKPDC), has been appointed Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC), Kashmir.
Showkat Hussain, currently Chief Engineer, I&FC, Kashmir, has been transferred to the JKPDC.
Rajeev Gupta, also presently posted with the JKPDC, has been appointed Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Kashmir.
The department said the transfers and postings were ordered in the interest of administration.
