SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of two JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 889-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 8, Khalid Jehangir, who was serving as Secretary in the Industries and Commerce Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, Jammu and Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
Meanwhile, Soheel Noor Shah, who was awaiting adjustment orders in the General Administration Department, has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Public Services and Outreach Office, Raabita, the order stated.
