The General Administration Department issued Government Order No. 1527-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated September 16, sanctioning the placements on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee.

The officials will hold the assignments in their existing pay and grade, along with charge allowance as admissible under rules. The arrangement will remain in force for six months or until the posts are filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.

Those placed as In-charge Assistant Section Officers are Furkan Ahmad Najar, Ishfaq Majid Shah, Aarif Munawar, Beneesh Mushtag, Daljeet Singh, Asif Amin and Manzoor Ahmad Lone.

The department said the arrangement is temporary and will not give the officials any preferential right to hold the posts on a substantive basis or claim promotion. Any promotion will be made in accordance with the applicable rules and will remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts.

The seven officials have also been directed to continue working at their present places of posting until further orders.
