SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has transferred Under Secretary Ghulam Rasool Mir from the J&K Sports Council and posted him as Additional Private Secretary to Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the order on October 31 under Government Order No. 1721-JK(GAD) of 2026.
According to the order, Mir, who belongs to the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-I, has been assigned the new responsibility in the personal section of the Minister.
His posting will be governed by the norms notified under Government Order No. 268-GAD of 2015, dated March 4, 2015, as amended from time to time.
The order further states that the officer shall be deemed to have been relieved from his existing place of posting.
