SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Srinagar, including the Srinagar International Airport and Air Force Station, will remain affected for six hours on November 10 due to a scheduled shutdown of the 132/33 KV Grid Station Rawalpora.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), the shutdown will be observed from 9 am to 3 pm.
The affected areas include Rawalpora, Sanat Nagar, Hyderpora, Rangreth, Wanbal, Peerbagh, Humhama, Kralpora, Gogo, Yayil, Tawheed Bagh, Alamdar Colony, Milat Abad, Green Avenue, Nadroo, Sheikhpora, Humhama Heights, Friends Colony, Bagh-i-Mehtab, Gopalpora, Mochwa, Chanapora, Lalnagar, Nowgam, Natipora and Badshahnagar.
Power supply to STC BSF, BEACON, JAKLI and PHQ Humhama will also be affected during the shutdown period.
