SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has promoted eight Police Inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) with immediate effect through separate orders issued by the Home Department.
According to the orders, four Inspectors from the General Cadre have been promoted as DySPs. They are Yog Raj, Yasir Arfat, Hargopal Singh and Latief Ahmad.
In a separate order, four Inspectors from the Ministerial cadre have been elevated to DySP (Ministerial). They are Kuldeep Raj, Ashok Kumar, Riyaz Ahmad Khan and Bashir Ahmad.
