SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has regularised the services of 21 In-charge Assistant Section Officers (ASOs) of the JK Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as Assistant Section Officers in Pay Level-6B, with effect from December 26, 2024.
According to Government Order No. 1139-JK(GAD) of 2026, the regularisation has been approved following the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) at its meeting held on June 15, 2026.
The order states that the officers have been regularised against available vacancies in the pay scale of Rs 35,600–1,12,800 (Pay Level-6B).
The beneficiaries are Gowhar Yasmeen, Nelofar Rashid, Vinod Kumar Raina, Davood Bashir, Gulzar Ahmad Mir, Priyanka Raina, Satinder Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Puneet Kumar Lakhnotra, Artie Pandit, Harvinder Singh Mehta, Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Muzamil Fayaz Khan, Shoaib Mohd Sofi, Umar Bashir, Parveez Ahmad Kumar, Sajad Ahmad Bhat, Sahreen Tariq, Firdous Ahmad Gairee, Nowsheena Mehraj and Zamrooda Akther.
The government clarified that the regularisation shall remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before a competent court of law.
