SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has fixed a 30-day time limit for issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for a solvent order licence under the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
The General Administration Department notified the timeline and designated authorities under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011, through S.O. 238 dated September 9, 2026.
Under the notification, the Director concerned of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has been designated as the officer responsible for providing the service within 30 days.
The Special Secretary to the Government, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has been designated as the First Appellate Authority, while the Administrative Secretary of the department will serve as the Second Appellate Authority.
The notification was issued under Sections 4 and 8 of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011, which provides for specified timelines and authorities for delivery of notified public services.
