SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of five officers in the Department of Youth Services and Sports as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening the implementation of youth development and sports programmes across the Union Territory.
According to an order issued by Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Youth Services and Sports, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Assistant Director, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), Pulwama.
Virender Kumar, Assistant Director, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director, Jammu.
On promotion, Abdul Majid has been posted as District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Bandipora.
Jia Lal has been promoted and posted as Assistant Director, Kashmir, while Jahan Ara has been promoted and posted as District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Ganderbal.
The department said the transfers and promotions are part of its ongoing administrative restructuring to strengthen field-level administration and improve the delivery of youth development and sports programmes across Jammu and Kashmir.
