SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has promoted three In-charge Bench Secretaries to the posts of Bench Secretaries on a regular basis, with effect from August 25, 2026.
According to an order issued by Registrar General M K Sharma on November 4, 2026, the officers promoted are Masroor Ahmad Sheikh, Vishal Singh Dogra and Rakesh Singh.
The promotions were sanctioned following recommendations made by the High Court Committee for Appointment and Promotion of Officers and Officials, which were subsequently approved by the Chief Justice.
The order states that the promotions will take effect retrospectively from August 25, 2026, the date on which the officers acquired the requisite experience in their feeder cadre under the applicable rules.
