SRINAGAR: The soldier injured in the militant attack on the army camp in the Sunjwan area of Jammu succumbed to his injuries on Monday, officials said.
According to GNS, the soldier had suffered severe injuries in the attack and was immediately evacuated to a hospital. However, he succumbed to his wounds.
Earlier, militants had carried out an attack on the army Base Camp in the Sunjwan area. The army retaliated, and additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area, officials added.
