SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police has transferred Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Abdul Hamid Khan from the Special Operations Group (SOG), Srinagar, to the Armed Zone with immediate effect, according to an official order issued by the Police Headquarters.
The transfer was ordered in the interest of administration through Order No. 1758 of 2026 issued by Police Headquarters, Srinagar. ASI Abdul Hamid Khan, bearing PID No. ARP095694, has been directed to report to the Armed Zone for further duties.
The order stated that the officer shall be relieved forthwith to enable him to assume his new assignment without delay.
According to the directive, the Additional Director General of Armed Police has been instructed to post the officer to a unit located in either Rajouri or Poonch district and inform Police Headquarters accordingly.
