SRINAGAR: A policeman sustained injuries after an accidental discharge from his service rifle at Gulshan Ground, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, on Monday.
An official said that the policeman sustained injuries while cleaning the weapon during duty.
He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, for treatment, the official said.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
