Jammu Kashmir: Probe Ordered Against Two Junior Engineers

   

SRINAGAR: The Jal Shakti Department has initiated departmental proceedings against two former Junior Engineers of the Irrigation Division, Jammu, in connection with a contempt case.

“In terms of Sub-rule (4) of Rule 33 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Shri Jugal Kishore Nagotra, I/c Superintending Engineer, RTIC, Jammu, as the Inquiry Officer to enquire into the charges framed and served upon Shri V.K. Dhar and Shri Satish Vaid, the then Junior Engineers posted in Irrigation Division No. II, Jammu, in case titled Deep Raj vs M. Raju (Contempt No. 180/2018 in OWP No. 638/2018). In addition, Smt. Samina Choudhary, Assistant Executive Engineer (Technical Officer to Executive Engineer), Irrigation Division No. II, Jammu, shall serve as the Presenting Officer in the case,” reads an order.

The order further states, “The Inquiry Officer shall conduct a thorough enquiry and submit his report and findings along with specific recommendations to the Government within 15 days from the date of issuance of this order.” (JKNS)
