Jammu Kashmir RevenuePlus Portal to Remain Shut for Five Days

In an official communication dated November 5, the Revenue Department informed Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir that no services through the portal would be accessible during the five-day migration period.

The migration is being undertaken following the planned closure of the existing NIC Mini Data Centre. The department said the necessary hardware infrastructure had been allocated by the State Data Centre and the application’s security audit had been successfully completed.

The exercise will also include technical upgrades, including the implementation of SMS and email facilities and integration of a payment gateway.

The Revenue Department has asked Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the information is communicated to field-level functionaries and the general public in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made to minimise inconvenience.

The portal is expected to be restored after completion of the migration exercise.
