SRINAGAR: The registration of Allied and Healthcare Professionals and Institutions is set to commence shortly in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Allied and Healthcare Council, Jammu Kashmir announced.
The process will be carried out through the online portals being finalised by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) under the Department of Health Family Welfare, Government of India, as mandated by the NCAHP Act, 2021.
All eligible professionals in the Union Territory have been informed to prepare their relevant documents and details to ensure smooth registration once the portal becomes operational.
The NCAHP has coordinated with all State and UT Allied and Healthcare Councils to operationalise the registration system uniformly across India. The draft regulations governing registration, currently available on the Commission’s official website, are in the final stages of approval and are expected to be formally notified soon.
The State Allied and Healthcare Council, JK has taken steps to ensure timely coordination with the Commission for an early rollout of the registration process. Authorities emphasised that no State Allied and Healthcare Council in the country has initiated registration independently, as the process is to be implemented nationwide under the Commission’s guidance.
