SRINAGAR: A woman was seriously injured after being attacked by a wild bear in the Seri Khawaja area of Poonch district of Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday.
Sources said that the victim sustained multiple injuries and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Her condition is stated to be serious but stable.
Forest and wildlife officials have been informed, and efforts are underway to locate and capture the bear to prevent further incidents. (KNC)
