Jammu Muslim Front asks PM Modi to stop killings in Kashmir

Srinagar

Jammu Muslim Front Chairman Shuja Zaffar has appealed Government of India to start a dialogue with all the stakeholders in Kashmir to end blood-shed there.

He expressed anguish over unabated killings in Kashmir and asked people to come forward and find ways and means to restore peace and normalcy in Valley.

Shuja Zaffar appealed Home Minister of India to pass directions to Security Forces to exercise restraint to avoid killings. He said such killings will alienate more people in Kashmir.

“We appeal Prime Minister to step in and convene a meeting of intellectual class and senior politicians to end the stalemate and stop youth joining from militancy,” he said adding that Kashmir needs a humanitarian approach.
