SRINAGAR: Heavy rainfall triggered multiple landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones at many places in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir early Sunday, forcing the authorities to suspend traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway for the second consecutive day.
Officials said that the efforts to restore the highway for traffic are going on and travellers are advised not to undertake the journey without contacting the control rooms at Srinagar and Jammu.
