JDA Cancels Land Lease Deed to ‘Krishna Hiraranand Memorial’

The special Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Anuradha Wazir Tuesday submitted the report before State Vigilance Commission in which it said that the lease deed with respect to the allotted land in favour of a Trust for establishment Medical college and Hospital in Jammu has been cancelled.

The report said that the president of trust has not proved his citizenship while filing the documents for seeking land.

Earlier, State Vigilance Commission had asked the state government to file the report in wake of the allegations levelled against Jammu Development Authority (JDA) for bungling and misdeeds with respect to allotment of land.

A complaint has been lodged by Prof S K Bhalla before State Vigilance Commission against Vice-Chairman JDA alleging it for committing bungling and misdeeds in allotment of land to a trust namely Krishna Hiraranand Memorial Trust for establishment of Medical College and Hospital.
