The structures were found to be in violation of approved land-use norms and building regulations. According to preliminary findings, several of them posed safety risks due to poor structural stability and encroachments in sensitive areas, potentially endangering nearby residential and commercial zones.

The operation was executed by the JDA Enforcement Wing with support from local administration and police to ensure a smooth and incident-free exercise. Officials said prior notices had been issued to the violators in accordance with due procedure, giving them time to respond.

The Authority reiterated its commitment to planned urban development and urged the public to obtain necessary permissions before undertaking construction. It also warned that similar enforcement actions will continue against violations to ensure compliance with building laws and orderly urban growth.
