Srinagar: Due to inclement weather from past couple of days, the water level in Srinagar has increased to the “alarming” level.

However the at other two places; Sangam in south nad Asham in north, the level is under control.

According to gauge reading, Srinagar has crossed 16 feet and is running at 16.45 ft at Ram Mushi Bagh.

At Sangam the level is 14.65 feet, while at Asham, it is recorded to be 11.75 ft.

The officials have issued advisory to the people living on embankments.
