Officials reported that 624 data layers have been integrated into the PM Gati Shakti portal, placing JK among the top three performing states and union territories. So far, 39 UT departments are onboarded, and 50 strategic projects worth over Rs 3,000 crore have been discussed in multiple coordination meetings. Over 100 capacity-building sessions have been conducted, and extensive mapping of more than 23,000 schools, 26,000 Anganwadi centres, and 6,000 fair price shops has been completed on the portal.

The Chief Secretary highlighted the initiative’s goal to break departmental silos, improve multi-modal connectivity, reduce logistics costs, and enable last-mile infrastructure access. He urged the Industries and Revenue departments to enhance the portal with additional social sector data layers.

Emphasising the Area Development Approach, Dulloo called for integrated infrastructure planning targeting defined regions to boost logistics, economic activity, tourism, social services, and governance. He also noted the portal’s role in improving defence logistics by optimising civilian infrastructure use.

Officials were directed to accelerate asset mapping and strengthen inter-departmental coordination for timely clearances and project monitoring. The meeting included administrative secretaries and relevant stakeholders. Dulloo praised the progress and assured continued administrative support to expedite PM Gati Shakti implementation across Jammu and Kashmir.
