J&K Bank organized camps in Udhampur wherein KCC cards were distributed among the participants. The beneficiaries belonged to the far flung areas of Latti and Sudh Mahadev in Udhampur district.

The camp was attended by a good gathering of people including farmers, traders besides officials of the agriculture department.

The Bank’s Cluster Head Udhampur Iqbal Singh welcomed the audience and highlighted the benefits of Kissan Cash Credit and the other initiatives taken by J&K Bank.

He also requested all the beneficiaries to have optimum use of the scheme and impressed upon them to educate the farmers in their respective areas about Kissan Credit Card.

He also highlighted the Bank’s initiative of reaching out to far flung areas of the state for providing world class banking facilities to the people of these areas.

Those present on the occasion expressed their gratitude towards the Bank particularly for providing easy, hassle free credit facilities to the people of Latti and Sudh Mahadev.

Out of the 1023 KCC cases sanctioned by the business unit Latti, 120 cards were distributed on spot to the beneficiaries, while as at business unit Sudh Mahadev 70 cards were distributed out of the 793 sanctioned cases.

Head B.U Latti Mohit Gupta, Head B.U Sudh Mahadev Virender Sharma and Agriculture Extension Officer, Zone Latti Gopal Krishan Sharma were also present on the occasions.
