In his message from Mumbai, Chairman & CEO Mushtaq Ahmad expressed his deep sorrow over the death of Aijaz and said that the entire J&K Bank family mourns his loss and equally shares the grief of his family.

Paying rich tributes to Ajaz, Abdul Hamid Banday said, “Aijaz was a thorough gentleman with an intellectual bent of mind. He was well known among literary circles in the valley.”

With his untimely death, we have lost a wonderful companion, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, President HRD Abdul Rauf Bhat paid homage to the friendly character of Aijaz and said, “He had a nice and friendly demeanour towards others. He was always there to help others. He was a very decent man who contributed to the success of this organisation in his own way.”
