To understand customer needs, Jammu and Kashmir bank on Friday  organized customer meet at its Business Units Mendhar and Tikri in Poonch and Udhampur districts respectively.

In Mendhar, the meeting presided by cluster head Ghulam Jeelani Shah was attended by people from different sections of the society.

During interaction with the customers, Shah gave detailed account of the tailor-made schemes of the bank suitable for all sections of the society.

He urged the local educated youth to avail the benefits of various government sponsored schemes especially SK Employment and Welfare Scheme for Youth (SKEWPY).

He assured the trading community of total support from the bank in their financial needs. Praising the services of the bank, customers appreciated  all the staff members posted at the business unit.

Further they demanded installation of one more ATM near post office Mendhar- Jammu road to deal with the rush at the on-site ATM.

Meanwhile another customer meet which took place at business unit Tikri was chaired by the cluster head S Iqbal Singh.

During meeting, the bank officials interacted with the customers and educated them about the different products including insurance floated by the bank in collaboration with MetLife.

On the occasion, Singh  delivered a cheque of Rs 5 Lacs to the legal heir of late Mrs. Indira Devi, one of the customers, who was insured with MetLife through business unit, Tikri.

Singh on the occasion explained the benefits of Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) to the participants and requested the local sarpanches to educate the farmers of their respective villages about KCCs.
