J&K Bank RSETI Baramulla Saturday conducted a financial literacy and credit counseling camp in Industrial Training Institute at Adipora Sopore.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with FLCC Baramulla and ITI Sopore.

A good number of young and unemployed youth from village Adipora and the adjacent areas attended the camp.
The function was chaired by superintendant ITI Sopore.

Director RSETI Riyaz Ahmad informed the youth about the objectives of organizing of such camps.

“Such camps help in sharing of ideas and improves our communication skills while interacting with the speakers and those in the audience,” he said.

He discussed at length upon the stories of successful entrepreneurs like Dhiru Bhai Ambani who had the vision and goal to move forward for the development of the nation and requested the youth to take a leaf out of their success stories.
The Facilitator FLCC Baramulla gave a detailed overview of the cent re.

He said that the Government and J&K Bank as the Lead Bank in state along with other banks had a mission to streamline the flow of credit to agriculture and allied activities and ensuring youth friendly schemes for the eradication of poverty and unemployment in the state.

Superintendent ITI advised the youth to take benefit of such seminars and not follow government jobs throughout their life but start small projects to become job providers instead of job seekers.

The forms for the registration of the entrepreneurs with the department for training were also distributed among youth.
Earlier, another such camp was organized at Syed Jalal Public School at Adipora.
