J&K Bankers’ Club is organizing a Banclave on “e-Financial Inclusion- Way Ahead” tomorrow here at SKICC Srinagar.
Deputy Governor RBI H R Khan will be the Chief Guest at the Banclave attended J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad besides high-ranking RBI functionaries and senior officers of the banks operating in the state.
The Club has invited experts from various sectors besides banking to deliberate on issues concerning e-financial inclusion – a key element in the electronic governance (E-Governance) that has of late gained much importance in the country’s governing system.
The banclave shall discuss various themes including ‘Innovation in IT for better governance’ and ‘Innovation in payment products for common man’. Besides there will be technical sessions on ‘Leveraging technology for financial inclusion – state experiences’ and ‘e-financial inclusion, e-payments systems, e-governance in J&K – way forward’.
Notably, J&K Bankers’ Club is a forum to deliberate and decide upon strategies that seek to harmonize objectives of bankers and needs of the societies they operate in.
