One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents in South Kashmir, police said.
In Budgam, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Wani son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani resident of Mazhama at Mazhama in the jurisdiction of Police Station Magam. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Shopian, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22-0625 hit and injured a minor girl Zaffar Bania resident of Devpora, Shopian at Herpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Herpora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Shopian police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kulgam, an Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK18-1312 hit and injured a minor boy Farhan Mehraj resident of Katrasoo, Kulgam at Yaripora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Yaripora. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
Meanwhile, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Amin Bhat resident of Lisoo, Kulgam at Arigatno in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment.
Kulgam police has registered cases in both the incidents.
