SRINAGAR: The  Government on Thursday informed that 110 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 33 from Jammu division and 77 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 323792.

Moreover, 126 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 45 from Jammu Division and 81 from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 99.77 percent of the population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 43 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 323792 positive cases, 1109 are Active Positive, 318283 have recovered and 4400 have died; 2160 in the Jammu division and 2240 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 12765917 test results available, 12442125 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date, 3099412 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8786 persons in-home quarantine including facilities operated by the government, 1109 in isolation and 411238 in-home surveillance. Besides, 2673879 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 71894 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today) with 242 Active Positive, 70818 recovered (including 25 cases recovered today), 834 deaths; Baramulla has 23786 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 68 Active Positive, 23436 recovered (including 16 cases recovered today), 282 deaths; Budgam reported 23046 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 68 active positive cases, 22772 recovered (including 02 cases recovered today), 206 deaths; Pulwama has 15272 positive cases with 27 Active Positive, 15051 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today) and 194 deaths; Kupwara has 14178 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today), 37 Active Positive, 13975 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today), 166 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16389 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 41 Active Positive, 16143 recovered and 205 deaths;  Bandipora has 9575 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today), with 50 Active Positive, 9425 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 10050 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 67 Active Positive, 9905 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today) and 78 deaths; Kulgam has 11367 positive cases (including 20 cases reported today) with 50 Active Positive, 11200 recoveries (including 09 cases recovered today) and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5592 positive cases with 05 active positive cases, 5529 recoveries and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52937 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 112 active positive cases, 51683 recoveries (including 15 cases recovered today), 1142 deaths; Udhampur has 11373 positive cases with 30 active positive cases, 11206 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today) and 137 deaths; Rajouri has 11054 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 62 active positive, 10762 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today) and 230 deaths; Doda has 7440 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 71 Active positive, 7240 recovered (including 11 cases recovered today) and 129 deaths; Kathua has 9275 positive cases with 08 active positive cases, 9116 recovered  and 151 deaths; Samba has 7132 positive cases  with 10 active positive cases, 7002 recoveries  and 120 deaths; Kishtwar has 4721 positive cases with 33 Active Positive, 4644 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today)  and 44 deaths;  Poonch has 6300 positive cases with 28 active positive, 6175 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today)  and 97 deaths;  Ramban has 5983 positive cases with 07 active positive cases, 5909 recoveries and 67 deaths while Reasi has 6428 positive cases with 93 active positive cases, 6292 recoveries and 43 deaths.

According to the bulletin, among the total 323792 positive cases in J&K, 23086 have been reported as travelers while 300706 as others.

The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.

The bulletin added that there are 2423 COVID dedicated beds, 2019 Isolation beds with 1995 vacant beds and 404 ICU beds where 395 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 3353 COVID dedicated beds, 3074 Isolation beds where 3044 beds are vacant and 279 ICU beds where 252 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are a total of 5776 COVID dedicated beds, 5093 Isolation beds with 5039 beds vacant and 683 ICU beds with 647 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
