SRINAGAR: The Interim Body of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) Association has called a one-day pen-down strike to protest the alleged humiliation of a woman officer during an official meeting on October 14.
In a communication to its members, the interim body said the protest was intended to uphold the dignity, self-respect and institutional honour of the JKAS fraternity.
The association urged its members to stand together in solidarity, maintaining that an attack on the dignity of one officer was a concern for the entire service.
The communication was issued by the Interim Body of the JKAS Association (AJJSKA).
