SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Social Welfare Department on Thursday ordered the posting of Basharat Mahmood, Jr. JKAS, as In-Charge District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Anantnag against an available vacancy.
According to Government Order No. 77-JK(SWD) of 2026 dated May 14, 2026, Basharat Mahmood, who was awaiting orders of posting in the Social Welfare Department, has been assigned the new responsibility in the interest of administration.(KNC)
