SRINAGAR: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) is inviting candidates from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for admission to the Bachelors in Pharmacy (BPharm) course in government and private institutes of Jammu and Kashmir.
The online application forms can be submitted by eligible candidates before June 26, 2023. Candidates who are domiciled of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh and have qualified Class 12th or have any qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India are eligible for the course. The age of the applicants should not be less than 17 years on December 31, 2023.
If anyone is applying to BPharm through the lateral entry mode, they should have passed the diploma in pharmacy (DPharm) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
After the submission of the application form, the candidates are advised to visit the BOPEE office physically, either in Jammu or Srinagar, and submit a hard copy of the application form along with photocopies of their domicile certificate, marks card of 10+2, marks card of DPharma (only for candidates applying for B. Pharma lateral entry), date of birth certificate (10th or diploma), and category certificate (if any).
Applicants whose results of class 12th are pending can still apply to the course with the condition that they submit their marks card in the respective allotted colleges.
The selection will be made on the basis of merit in the entrance test that will be conducted in offline mode at both Jammu and Srinagar test centres. The date of entrance shall be notified separately.

Pharma course are the University of Kashmir, Prabha Harjilal College of Pharmacy, Preclinical Sciences Madr-e-Meharban Campus of Health Sciences Jammu, DRD College of Pharmacy Kathua, SVS Paramedical College Sunderbani, and JSS College of Pharmacy, Najwal Vijaypur Samba, with availability of 33, 60, 100, 60, and 60 seats, respectively.
