Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, on Friday chaired a meeting to finalize the arrangements being put in place by the School Education department and JKBOSE for conduct of 10th and 12th class examinations in the district.

The spokesman said that it was informed that 76 centres for 10th and 39 centres for 12th have been established across the district for conduct of the exam.

DC asked the concerned officers to ensure that the examination is conducted in free, fair and transparent manner besides asking the ACR, CEO and Asst Secretary BOSE Doda to depute the exam staff after proper randomisation  for smooth conduct of the exams to avoid any law and order problem during the Examination Process.

He informed that section 144 CrPC will remain imposed in and around examination centres in the district to curb tendency of external interference, prevent breach of peace and to maintain public tranquility around the examination centres.

The meeting was attended by Sub Divisional Magistrate’s of Gandoh, Assar, Thathri, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Education Officer, Principal DIET Doda, Tehsildars, Head of Educational Institutes and officers from BOSE and allied departments.
