SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Wednesday announced results of annual exams of 12th standard.
Officials said that 75 percent of candidates have qualified the annual regular exams of the 12th standard.
Out of 1,03,308 students who appeared, 77,315 have passed the examination.
Among the total candidates, 51,717 boys appeared, of whom 37,214 passed, with a pass percentage of 71.95 percent. In comparison, 51,591 girls appeared, and 40,097 passed, registering a higher pass percentage of 77.72 percent.
A total of 30,622 students secured distinctions (75% and above), 36,311 secured first division (60% and above), and 10,304 students passed in second division (48% and above).
