SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Sunday postponed the Class 10th and 11th examinations scheduled for August 25 across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, citing severe weather conditions.
A statement issued by the board reads that the exams for both classes “stand postponed across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh UTs in view of severe inclement weather.”
The board said the new dates for the postponed examinations will be notified separately.
“All BOSE officers are directed to flash the message in their respective WhatsApp groups for the information of centre superintendents and jurisdictional SHOs/police posts,” the statement added. (KNC)
