SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday postponed the Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2026 examinations for Class 10, Class 12 and the Jammu and Kashmir State Open School (JKSOS) Class 12 that were scheduled to be held on July 20.
The board said the examinations were deferred in view of the heavy rainfall and flood situation affecting parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKBOSE said the revised dates for the postponed examinations will be announced separately.
The decision comes as several districts across the Union Territory continue to grapple with the impact of torrential rains, flash floods and disrupted road connectivity.
