SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced a 15-member squad to represent the Union Territory in the U-19 Women’s T20 Tournament 2026-27, with the league phase scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from October 9 to 16.
The squad was approved by the competent authority following recommendations from the Junior Women’s Selection Committee, according to a JKCA communication dated September 26.
Shambhavi Rajput, who has been named captain and wicketkeeper, will lead the side. The squad includes players from Jammu, Srinagar, Kulgam, Rajouri, Bhaderwah, Kathua, Doda, Anantnag and Kupwara.
The selected players are Shambhavi Rajput (captain and wicketkeeper), Kayinat Bakshi, Aleeza Wani, Manya Banotra, Manvi Sharma, Janvi Rajput, Mokshita Kotwal, Ridhima Rajput, Salma Bano, Dhaniya Sharma, Sakshi Parihar, Seerat Yousaf, Anisa Qasim, Shweta Rana and Sonakshi Sharma.
The preparatory camp for the selected players will be held from September 29 to October 5, ahead of their participation in the tournament.
The JKCA said the squad had been selected to represent the association in the U-19 Women’s T20 competition.
