Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested on Tuesday in Kangan area of district Ganderbal after he met with the family of Kangan youth who was killed in forces action.
The spokesman in a statement said that Malik reached to Chatergul Kangan without any prior information and participated in a condolences meeting held for slain youth.
The spokesman said that as soon as Malik finished addressing a gathering he was arrested along with JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, adding that both have been lodged at police station Ganderbal.
