JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik was once again arrested from his Maisuma residence during the wee hours of Wednesday morning, the party spokesperson said.
He said that a posse of police showed up at Malik’s residence shortly after Sehri and arrested him.
“He was lodged at Kothi Bagh Police Station,” the spokesperson said.
Malik faced repeated arrests after he started unification drive in separatist group.
While terming Malik’s regular arrests as “frustration” of the present PDP-BJP government, the JKLF spokesperson said, “Malik’s repeated arrests show how this government is negating its own ‘battle of ideas’ theory.”
Malik arrest came hours before a scheduled joint silent protest program by separatist leadership against the proposed Sainik and Pandit colonies.
