SRINAGAR:  To foil Monday’s scheduled of day long sit-in cum seminar announced by united resistance leadership against oppression unleashed on Kashmiri inmates in jails, police arrested JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik from his residence, a spokesman of the party said.

Police in large numbers raided his residence and arrested him. He was immediately shifted to central jail Srinagar. J

“Malik is unwell from last few days because of viral infection and has been arrested in ailing condition,” the spokesman alleged while condemning his arrest. “Propagators of battle of ideas could not tolerate even this kind of peaceful program and have resorted to use of police violence against it.”
