In wake of civil curfew call, Jammu Kashmir liberation front(JKLF) has postponed its program of sit –in scheduled 0n February 20, 2013.
It is worth to mention that JKLF had announced protest programs in favor of prisoners especially those who have been sentenced to life.
According to the program a candle light protest march is being held on 2nd day of every month and a sit in on 20th of every month.
Meanwhile JKLF Acting Chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt led a delegation reached Watergam Rafiabad and expressed its condolences to the family of ” innocent Kashmiri martyr” Ubair Mushtaq nephew of JKLF leader Farooq Ahmad Dar and expressed solidarity with his family members. The delegation also visited an injured Sajad Ahmad Butt of the same village and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Condemning the raids on Zargar family at Jamia Masjid Srinagar, JKLF has alleged that a police officer had threatened the Zargar family with Delhi like consequences.
“JKLF strongly condemns the routine raids of police on the family and harassing them. JKLF also condemns the killing of a woman Nazira of Khudwani Kulgam by police and forces and said that this state terrorism unleashed by the authorities is condemnable”, the statement read.
