Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration outside Indian High Commission in London against the killings in Kashmir, particularly in south Kashmir.

The spokesman said hundreds of protesters including women and children chanted slogans for complete freedom of Jammu Kashmir and withdrawal of forces from the state. The Protestors also demanded from the international community to intervene and save lives of innocent people of Jammu Kashmir.

The spokesman added that at the end of the protest, a delegation led by JKLF UK president Sabir Gul and prominent leaders tried to hand a memorandum to Indian High Commissioner, who refused to accept it, adding that the practice has been repeated by Indian High Commission in the UK for a few years.

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to Gowhar Amin Bahadur of Batamaloo who was killed in 1993. Recalling the struggle and sacrifice of Gowhar, JKLF chairman said that he was a brave person and was a close associate of Sheikh Abdul Hamid.
