JKMEGA Holds Meet In Srinagar, Discuss Various Issues

SRINAGAR: An Executive Committee Meeting of J&K Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) was held on Saturday in its office at MED Complex, Shalteng, Srinagar.

According to the statement said that threadbare discussions were held on various long pending demands of the engineering fraternity in general and Mechanical Engineering in particular.

“The Members present expressed their huge gratitude to RR Bhatnagar (IPS), Advisor to LG, J&K, Shailendra Kumar (IAS), Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B/MED), Shahid Mahmood (KAS), Addl. Secretary HRM, PW (R&B/MED) and the entire team of officers/officials for the recent regularization order of Mechanical Engineers at AE and AEE levels expressed hope that such endeavours will be continued in future as well to get rid of adhocism and fulfilment of other long pending demands especially expansion and safeguarding of sanction strength in the present PWD reorganization going on which will prove to be fruitful in fulfilling the public demands of the modern mechanized world,” it said.

The members present desired to put on record the relentless efforts of Shailendra Kumar (IAS), Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B/MED) for fulfilling various genuine demands under rules and thanked him for infusing new life to PWD, reads the statement issued by JKMEGA.
