Jammu and Kashmir Cricket team stunned Mumbai in their historic win in Ranjhi trophy 2014-15 by 4 wickets. J&K team defeated 40 time champions, Mumbai team in the first round match of this trophy at the famous Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The J&K team scored 254, 237/6 and Mumbai could only score 236, 254, leading to the win by 4 wickets in 69.2 overs.

Shubham Khajuria scored 78, whereas Hardeep Singh remained unbeaten on 41 and skipper Parvez Rasool scored an easy inning of 32 runs.

Jammu and Kashmir met Mumbai team for the first-time ever in the tournament. The highest scorers were Mumbai’s Suryakumar Yadav 115, Dhawal Kulkarni 37; Ram Dayal 5 for 76 and J&K’s Sbhubham Khajuria 78, Hardeep Singh 11*;  Umar Nazir 4 for 49.
