JKSCPWCR takes suo-motto cognizance of dilapidated GHSS Panihad building

The Jammu and Kashmir State Commission for Protection of Women and Child Rights (JKSCPWCR) on Friday took suo- motto cognizance of media report regarding unsafe building of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Panihad in Rajouri district wherein   over 400 students of seven Panchayats have been studying in insecure environment and sought Action taken report from the concerned on the same.

Considering the gravity and seriousness involved with regard to safety and security of students, the Commission sought Action Taken Report from the concerned education authorities with the directions for taking up repair work of the building as early as possible ensuring the safety and security of the students of the school.
