SRINAGAR: Classwork at two educational institutions in Srinagar will remain suspended on Thursday, September 10, to facilitate the conduct of JK Services Selection Board (JKSSB) OMR-based written examinations for posts in the Health and Medical Education Department.
An order issued by the Additional District Magistrate, Srinagar, on September 9 directed the Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar, and Kashmir Government Polytechnic, Gogji Bagh, to suspend regular classwork on the examination day.
The JKSSB examinations will be held in two shifts. The BCG Technician examination is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm, while the Paramedical Assistant examination will be conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The order stated that only staff nominated for examination-related duties should be permitted to enter the institutions on the scheduled date to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
