JKSSB Reschedules Two Exams, Admit Cards To Remain Valid

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has postponed the OMR-based written examinations for the posts of Sanitary Inspector and Junior Ophthalmic Technician in the Health and Medical Education Department.

According to a notice issued by the Controller of Examinations, JKSSB, the examinations advertised under Notification No. 07 of 2025, which were scheduled to be held on July 8, 2026, will now be conducted on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

The board said that the timings and venues of the examinations will remain unchanged. The Sanitary Inspector exam will be held in the first shift from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while the Junior Ophthalmic Technician exam will take place in the second shift from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

JKSSB further clarified that admit cards already issued to candidates will remain valid for the rescheduled examination date.
