SRINAGAR: Father of Journalist Hilal Shah, Shams-U-Din Shah left for a heavenly abode on Saturday late night at his home in Sonanaar village of Lolab area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after a brief illness. He was 62 years old.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a five sons. He was unwell for some time and breathed his last at his residence around 11:45 pm.
His funeral prayers will be held at 11:45 pm today at his native place in Sonanaar Lolab.
